Romilly Wilde Eye Believe Serum Review

Updated: Apr 20, 2020

A eye cream to me is one of those holy grail products that I cannot live without! It is a crucial part of my skincare ritual and therefore I am always on the lookout for new eye products to try.

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to meet with Susie Willis, the founder of clean beauty brand Romilly Wilde. We had the chance to sit down and talk all about the brand ethos and sustainability that is synonymous with Susie's beliefs. I filmed a 20 minute interview that I will put at the bottom of this post. I would love to do a separate blog post talking all about the brand, but today lets talk all about the eye serum.

What are the ingredients?

This eye cream is rich with a spectrum of natural plant stem cells. It contains actives including Schisandra, Sea Chamomile, Chinese Hibiscus and Green Tea, which are said to boost cell metabolism and cell turnover around the delicate eye area.

The formula feels gorgeous on the skin and smells divine. What I love about the packaging is the metal applicator which not only helps with application but also reduces puffiness and gives a cooling effect.

I have been using the serum for around 4 weeks now and still have a lot left in the tube. I love using this especially at night as the formula is so rich and moisturising. However it is also great when used in the day as it does not leave a film of any kind on the skin like some eye creams that I have tried, therefore makeup sits on top perfectly.

This skincare brand is not manufactured in a cheap way using cheap ingredients and that is clear from the pricing. This is marketed as a luxe, high end skincare brand which it most certainly is. From my talk with Susie, she made clear that if you want effective natural active ingredients that work then you get what you pay for.

This eye cream retails for £85. It is available from Romilly Wilde directly and it is also sold on Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

I am looking forward to continuing to use the serum and see the long term results and hopefully this is just the beginning of my journey with the amazing Romilly Wilde. I will leave me and Susie's full interview down below. Let me know in the comments if you have tried anything from Romilly Wilde before and what your favourite product is!

See you on the next one,

Max xoxo
